BIOGRAPHY

Suzanne van Duuren finished her studies in 2015 with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels with Jeroen Reuling.

Suzanne took masterclasses with Marcio Carneiro, Johannes Goritzki, Valter Despalj, Gavriel Lipkind, Li-Wei Qin, Raphael Wallfisch, Daniel Müller-Schott, Gary Hoffman and Colin Carr. 

Since an early age she played in symphonic orchestras like the Jeugdorkest Nederland, the National Youth Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra. At the moment she is playing regularly as a substitute in the Symphonic Orchestra of La Monnaie and Casco Phil.

Since September 2009 Suzanne plays with a bow  made by F.N. Voirin, kindly provided by the Dutch National Instrument Fund.

Marjolein Nieuwenkamp studied with Lucia Swarts and Harro Ruijsenaars at the Royal Conservatorium The Hague. She completed her master studies with an Erasmus exchange at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg. 

Marjolein took masterclasses with Gregor Horsch, Jens Peter Maintz and Frans Helmerson. 

Marjolein played with the European Union Orchestra. Playing with eminent conductors including Giandrea Noseda, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Jac van Steen. 

Additionally she has played as a substitute in the Rotterdam Philharmonic, Residentie Orkest and the Philharmonie Zuidnederland. 

She playes on a cello which is build by Fanny Bourel in Paris.
